Berkeley Rep's Next Generation Fellowship program is a full-time, 11-month immersive training program covering the art and business of producing theatre, with administrative tracks including the Bret C. Harte and Peter F. Sloss Artistic fellowships, Company Management, Education and Community Engagement, and Marketing and Development, alongside a range of production fellowships. Fellows are mentored by departmental supervisors and senior leadership, shadow other departments, attend professional development workshops and field trips, and receive a $1,250 monthly stipend, shared housing with utilities, a travel reimbursement, and complimentary tickets. The program seeks applicants with basic training in their field, with emphasis on underrepresented communities; 2026/27 applications are closed.
