Equity actors for roles in THE VIRGIN MIMI (see breakdown).
On the heels of a controversial news story about The Virgin Mary, a pregnant teen living in a hyper-religious town becomes the subject of notoriety when it is believed she had an immaculate conception.
Note: The characters we are currently seeking in the play present as cis-gender male to demonstrate the effects of a hyper-religious patriarchal society. However, we are open to all gender expressions that feel comfortable presenting as masculine on stage.
Adam - male, teens, the “all-American” golden boy who is actually just a prick.
Ken - Male, teens, the stereotypical and aggressive jock type. Abe’s twin.
Abe - Male, teens, the quiet follower with “nice guy” syndrome. Ken’s twin.
Joey - Male, teens, the lovesick Romeo in love with Mimi. He is gentle, kind, and a little oblivious to what’s really going on around him.
