Breakdown

Seeking the following roles:

LAURA WINGFIELD: (age 25-33) A shy, inward and painfully childlike girl, Laura is unmarried, and lives at home with her brother and overbearing mother. A childhood illness resulted in one of her legs being slightly shorter than the other, leaving her crippled not only physically (she walks with a slight limp) but emotionally as well.

TOM WINGFIELD: (age 24-40) Tom is a restless, brooding, misunderstood dreamer who would rather be a writer than working in a warehouse for a shoe factory. He is handsome, gentle, and largely unfulfilled, as the responsibility for providing for his mother and sister rests squarely on his shoulders. At once sullen, fiery and prone to bursts of creative expression.

JIM O’CONNER: (age 25-35) The Gentleman Caller, boyish, cheerful and full of life with a big heart. Jim is still optimistic enough to believe in the American Dream. Getting by on affability, not slick.
