FA ZHOU
Fa Zhou (fa ZOO), Mulan's father, confident and calm who has a strong presence. His calm strength contrasts with Mulan's frenetic energy. We see that Mulan is truly her father's daughter when she grows wise through her journey. Strong vocals and must move well. C4 - D5
MULAN
Mulan shows tremendous strength, courage, passion and determination to protect her father and family. Strong vocalist with a very contemporary, “Disney Pop” sound and must move well. G3 - D5
MUSHU
Mushu (MOO shoo) – although comedy is very important for this character (a talking dragon), we feel sympathy for Mushu's struggle to get back into the Temple. A bit of a “song and dance” man. Strong vocals and must move well. D4 - F5
SHANG
Shang needs to have strength, but also the openness to learn from Mulan. He is a general's son but has a brain too. Very physically fit and charismatic. Strong pop sound and must be able to move well. D4 - F5
