Notice: Audition Call Type: EPA
Equity is committed to diversity and encourages all its employers to engage in a policy of equal employment opportunity designed to promote a positive model of inclusion. As such, Equity encourages performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages, as well as performers with disabilities, to attend every audition.
Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.
NOTE: In reference to the character descriptions below - most characters we encounter currently are in the binary and are written with he/him or she/her pronouns. But however limiting the descriptions are, our casting seeks to be as inclusive as possible and we invite gender non-conforming, genderqueer, transgender and non-binary actors to submit for the roles they most identify with. We will also list race/ethnicity when specific to the character but are otherwise seeking all races and ethnicities. In addition, we will list disabilities when specific to a character, but are otherwise seeking actors with disabilities as well as non-disabled actors for all roles. ADAM: 28, a trans man. Perceptive, charming, often a wallflower but comfortable with those he loves. A little too stressed to be quite as easy-going as he wants to appear.
LILY: 28, a cis woman. Much more extroverted and openly emotional than Adam, her (former) fiancé. Aggressively nice, desperate to get everything right all the time.
SAMUEL: 30s, a cis man. Adam's coworker. Uninhibited, attractive, moves through life with a substantial level of ease. Genuine to a fault.
NATALIE: 33, a cis woman. Adam's sister. Punchily cynical, guarded, hates the concept of vulnerability (when it applies to her). A strong support system for her brother.
ALYCIA: 23, a cis woman. Admirably confident, sharp, attractive. A former mean girl now mellowed out. Largely unfamiliar with the queer community.
