MICHAEL NOVAK

Character portrayed as male, 40s-early 50s, any ethnicity. A seemingly affable husband and host. Though initially eager to be welcoming to his guests and make peace, over time he reveals his hidden machismo and how his views conflict with his wife's approach to parenting. Strong theater training is a plus.

VERONICA NOVAK

Character portrayed as female, 40s-early 50s, any ethnicity. A writer and wife who presents as kind, courteous, and socially conscious. However, as her facade crumbles, she shows herself to be severe and judgmental. Strong theater training is a plus.
