Callbacks will be held June 23 and 24 in Orlando, FL. Both include potential Equity pension, Equity 401K, & Performers who are considered for a callback will be notified by June 5, 2026.

FINDING NEMO: THE BIG BLUE...AND BEYOND!

Male and Female Presenting Musical Theatre Performers.

SEEKING:

  • Nemo: Female Presenting. Portrays a youthful boy character. Adorable, endlessly curious, spirited, childlike and fearless, yet at the same time naïve and vulnerable. Bright and youthful mix or belt. Vocal Range Ab3-Eb5.
  • Dory: Female Presenting. A forgetful, yet very optimistic lady fish and Marlin's companion during this journey. Extremely quirky and an expert with comedic material. Character singer.
  • Marlin: Male Presenting. Over-protective yet very loving father, vulnerable. Huge heart, great comedic talent. Scared of virtually everything. Baritone, able to handle musical 'patter'.
  • Bruce: Male Presenting. A vegetarian great white shark. Can go from screaming rockers to an elegant soft shoe. Comedic baritone and able to handle harmonies.
  • Anchor: Male Presenting. Comedic bass/baritone who can sing harmonies & various styles including soft shoe and punk rock. Has a deep, resonant voice who can convey both toughness and warmth. Also, has the ability to infuse humor while maintaining the character’s gruff demeanor. Basic movement.
  • Chum: Male Presenting. Comedic baritone who can sing harmonies & various styles including soft shoe and punk rock. Chum is a friendly and easygoing shark. He is playful, a bit goofy, and has a charming personality. Although he is a shark, he is far from menacing; instead, he brings a light-hearted spirit to the underwater community. Basic movement.
  • Crush: Male Presenting. Laid back and fun-loving surfer dude turtle. Wise old father with the ability to rock. High tenor, must have effortless, sustained, full voice/mix high 'C'.
  • Bloat: Male Presenting. Musical singer with great energy and a comedic flare. Bloat is a humorous and endearing character who embodies the joys and challenges of friendship and collaboration. As a member of a vibrant ensemble, Bloat offers comic relief while also serving as a loyal friend to the other characters. His personality is a mix of quirky charm and a touch of vulnerability, making him relatable to the audience. Basic Movement.
  • Ensemble: Musical Theatre style. Strong vocalist and mover, with strong storytelling ability. Ensemble characters will be realized by a diverse array of puppetry styles, including rod, bunraku and hand puppetry.
