SEEKING
Equity actors for roles in CHOIR BOY (see breakdown).
Pharus, a talented student, has been waiting for years to take his rightful place as the
leader of the legendary gospel choir at the Charles R. Drew Prep School for Boys. Pharus bravely stands up to the traditions that would silence his voice in this Tony Award-winning drama by Oscar winner Tarell Alvin McCraney (Moonlight). Featuring gorgeous á cappella gospel music, this soaring musical drama illuminates the collision of masculinity, tradition and self-discovery.
Bass/Valle Casting encourages people of all races, ages, ethnicities, abilities and gender identities to apply.
Please note that this production may contain nudity and will require written consent from the actor in the offer/contracting process. For nudity requirements please email bassvallecasting@gmail.com.
