Please email a headshot, resume, and video of you performing one approx. 2 minute contemporary monologue by Friday August 5th. Please slate. Videos should be submitted via private video link (YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc).

Note: While this text concerns a girls’ soccer team, we are seeking actors of all gender identities to play 16/17-year-old femme presenting characters. Prior experience with soccer is not required, but confidence in learning physical skills will be an asset to those auditioning.

#2: (she/her), 16, Defense. Innocent, unlucky, kind, skinny.

#7: (she/her), almost 17, Striker. Too cool for school. Sarcastic, “fuck,” thick eyeliner.

#14: (she/her), 16, Midfield. #7’s insecure sidekick. Just switched to contacts.

#8: (she/her), 16, Defense. Childlike and determined to stay that way.

#00: (she/her), 17, Goalie. Intense performance anxiety, perfectionist, high achiever. *Please note that #00 removes her shirt and appears in a sports bra in the production.

Soccer Mom: (she/her), 40s/50s, Player’s Mom. Loves her daughter a whole lot
