This show production will tour for 3 weeks and then return to NYC for a 10 week sit down in partnership with the DR2 Kids Theatre (Daryl Roth, Producer). NYC run begins performances on February 8, 2013. The production concludes its limited engagement on April 14, 2013.
ALL CHARACTERS SING and DANCE! This is a musical based on the popular children's' book series, Bunnicula, by James Howe. All MUST be versatile with comedic flair. Also must be able to carry tight harmonies.
All dates subject to change. ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carries reasonably by two members of the company.
ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC.
SEEKING:
Harold
18+ baritone, comfortable up to a G, to play a big hearted dog. Harold may not be the smartest, but he has a sweet nature and is a true friend.
Chester
18+ tenor to play a high brow and well educated cat. He is jittery and aloof, with a taste for reading.
Mrs. Monroe
18+ belter with Soprano mix, to play an all American- high powered and driven. Also plays a scrappy and svelte alley cat. Especially interested actresses 5’6” and taller. Must be a strong mover.
