Late 20s – Early 40s. The fortune-telling leader of a backwoods coven.

Preparation
Please prepare a musical theater song, traditional or contemporary, that shows range and sustained singing. NO rock/pop.

Please bring sheet music, an accompanist will be provided.

Please bring a picture and resume, STAPLED TOGETHER.

THE WITCH
Late 20s – Early 40s. The fortune-telling leader of a backwoods coven, The Witch immediately knows Edward Bloom is special. The Witch is mysterious, other –worldly, aggressive yet charismatic. MUST have a big, powerful voice that can shiver souls. Big belt to F# and lives up in that range. Featured Ensemble role with her own specialty number. FEATURED ENSEMBLE.
