BEAU JEST

SEEKING:

SARAH GOLDMAN: Female, Late 20s – 30s, Jewish. A schoolteacher. Warm, intelligent, and torn between pleasing her parents and following her own heart.

JOEL GOLDMAN: Male, 30s, Jewish. Sarah’s brother. A therapist, sharp-witted, sarcastic, and quick with observations.

ABE GOLDMAN: Male, 50s – 70s, Jewish. Sarah’s father. Traditional, proud, and loving, though sometimes overbearing.

MIRIAM GOLDMAN: Female, 50s – 70s, Jewish. Sarah’s mother. Strong-willed, caring, and very involved in her children’s lives.

BOB SCHROEDER: Male, Late 20s-30s. The actor hired to play Sarah’s “ideal” Jewish boyfriend. Charming, funny, and sincere.

CHRIS CRINGLE: Male, late 20s-30s. Sarah’s non-Jewish boyfriend. A WASP executive. A nice guy, but not who her parents expect.
