***This adaptation with music has been performed at Geva since 2010, and has seven principals- six, plus Scrooge- performing all speaking roles, plus eight children and eleven ensemble.***
Seeking the following 2 roles only for these auditions:
FRED/APPRENTICE EBENEZER/YOUNG HUSBAND
(Male, 25-40, Caucasian, 5’10”-6’3”, Vocal range Bb2 - A4) Actor needs to have all the simple charm, warmth and goodness of a man everyone likes to be around. He has a large storytelling solo song at his Christmas Party where he shows off his humor and dexterity. Actor also has baritone solos and high notes in ensemble songs.
BUSINESSMAN/FEZZIWIG/GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT
(Male, 35-55, Caucasian, 5’9” to 6”1”, Vocal range C3 - A4) Character actor to play range of good-humored roles with gravitas. Has spirited nature, and ability to dance a bit as Fezziwig. Actor has baritone solos and high notes in ensemble songs.
