Go Comedy! Improv Theater recently announced the opening of its first original production, Missionary Accomplished: The Audacity of Hump, Thursday, March 19 @ 10pm. Tickets ($10) are available through the Go Comedy! Box office (248) 327-0575, or beginning at 7pm Thursday night.

Missionary Accomplished: The Audacity of Hump is a rollicking comedic adventure through the wonderful world of sex. The show covers everything about sex, love and relationships from their humble, passionate beginnings, to their bitter awkward endings. No group is left out of this show’s veracious skewering of everything that happens in the bedroom and beyond. Missionary Accomplished marks Go Comedy!’s first original production since opening in November of 2008. Written by Bryan Lark (Ferndale), Lesley Braden Phillips (Madison Heights), Chris DiAngelo (Ferndale) and Pj Jacokes (Ferndale), the show's cast features Go Comedy! performers; Lesley Braden Phillips, Chris DiAngelo, Ryan Parmenter (Southfield), Jen Hansen (Madison Heights), Tiffany Jones (Ferndale) and Pete Jacokes (Ferndale). Missionary Accomplished is directed by Pj Jacokes with assistant director Bryan Lark and stage manager Tommy LeRoy (Ferndale).

Missionary Accomplished: The Audacity of Hump runs at 10pm Thursdays with an open-ended run. It headlines Go Comedy!’s Thursday night line up of shows that also includes Soap Box Derby at 8pm, an improvised show featuring local musicians, comedians and community leaders, and the 9 O’Clock Comedy Hour with the Go Comedy! House Team. Tickets ($10) include all three shows and are available through the Go Comedy! Box office at (248) 327-0575, and at the theater beginning at 7pm Thursday nights.
