God wants a promotion. After seeing what the human race has done to His planet over the last 2000 years, God is biblically pissed off. After weighing His options, He comes up with a new directive for the people of earth: leave God the F- alone.

But in order to get a promotion from the "Galactic Council," He must first get everyone on Earth to stop believing in Him. Unfortunately, no matter how many plagues and disasters he throws down, there is still one last hold-out, a single mother named Rebecca who lives with her smart-ass teenaged son. God then calls on his henchmen, Jesus and St. Peter, to descend to Earth and deal-seal.

God Help Us is a world premiere original comedy by California author, Jeremy Kehoe. Kehoe, who will be in attendance for a Q&A session on the February 3 performance, has written many other works such as Unplug Grandma.

God Help Us is directed by Monster Box Theatre's artistic director Paul Stark and stars Jim Moll as God, Kenneth Franzel as St. Peter, Adam Kabot as Jesus, Karyl Crites as Rebecca, and Pascal Rehm as Isaiah.

Stark decided to stage this comedy as a mainstage production after it was originally submitted to the 2015 Detroit Fringe Festival. "After reading this submission, I determined it was not only superbly written, but one of the funniest plays I had ever read," Stark says of the daring comedy.

God Help Us will run from January 26 through February 5. Tickets are $20 at the door. For advance discount tickets between $12 - $16, visit monsterboxtheatre.com or call the ticket hotline at 248.787.1400.
