On the day of a much-anticipated speech by Rosa Parks during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, four activists working in a Virginia civil rights office wonder whether the proclamation of equality amongst mankind includes women. With remarkable insight and unexpected humor, Cadillac Crew reclaims the stories of the forgotten leaders who blazed the trail for desegregation and women’s rights and asks: when will the world be ready to embrace women in all their capacity?

Director ShaShauna Staton has cast Kenya Fashaw (Rachel), Shadiya Lyons (Abby), Katelyn Kendrick (Sarah), Zeah Loren (Dee) with Tiya Trent (Understudy) and Kate Poling (Understudy).

Tori Sampson is an American playwright and screenwriter. She is best known for her plays “This Land Was Made,” and “If Pretty Hurts Ugly Must Be a Muhf*cka” which explore themes of race, gender, and identity in contemporary America. Tori is currently a writer on "His & Hers" at Netflix. Other T.V. credits include "Citadel" at Amazon, "Three Women" at Showtime, "Hunters" at Amazon, and an episode for the Amazon anthology "Solos." On the development front, she is currently co-creating an adaptation of the novel The Secret Lives of Church Ladies for HBO Max. Sampson has received several awards and honors for her work, including the Lorraine Hansberry Playwriting Award, the Relentless Award, and the Paula Vogel Playwriting Award.
