Behind the glitz and the glamor of show business, there are teams of writers locked in smoky rooms, chugging down cups of coffee and struggling against the endless demands of their producers. In Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Neil Simon takes an unabashedly self-deprecating (and not-so-fictionalized) look at his early career as a showrunner.
Ages: True to the characters depicted and the era in which the show takes place, this contains some explicit language and content. Discretion is advised.
