Amidst the multitude of holiday offerings geared toward children and families, Wonderbound presents an entertainment option for adults that provides a sensual and enticing alternative. With two performances an evening; an appetizer show to delight your palate, which allows for dinner plans to be made following, or a dessert show that provides a splendid after-dinner experience.

Wonderbound has become well known for its collaborations with local artists across the spectrum of mediums, but for Winter, the magnitude of musicians, video artists and neighborhood businesses will reach a whole new level. This world premiere production will be held at Wonderbound's Studio at Junction Box and will be an immersive experience that incorporates all five senses.

See - While it is a given that the audience will be able to visually experience the magical choreography of Artistic Director Garrett Ammon, they will also be treated to the incredible projection mapping illusions of Denver's Kristopher Collins, the architect of digital spectaculars for major acts including the Black Eyed Peas.

Touch - Ammon will break the fourth wall, bringing the Wonderbound dancers into the audience to interact with those watching. The inclusion of this important sense promises to respectfully immerse watchers in a way that is rarely seen (or felt), bringing them into the magical world that Wonderbound will be creating for this very special evening.

"After having produced a multitude of collaborative endeavors with a diverse collection of artists, we are excited to see what happens when we engage all of the senses in a single project," says Ammon. "The theme of winter, with all of its extremes, feels like such an appropriate way to take on the challenge."

Hear - The production will feature all new music by Jesse Manley and His Band a denver/folk rock group which recently released a CD from their 2013 collaboration with Wonderbound entitled "A Gothic Folktale."

"It's a great privilege to work with a dedicated group of inspiring artists like that of Wonderbound." says Jesse Manley "I love the challenge of writing to a single concept, and I feel like it draws out my most creative work. The theme of Winter has been fascinating to explore, and going through this process has brought extraordinary growth to my artistry."

Taste - Chef Brian Crowe of Devil's Food, Noah French of Sugarmill, Bob Blair of Fuel Cafe and Iain Chisholm of Amerigo will be providing exclusive bites to complement the evening. Tastes from these exclusive menus will be available at the respective restaurants leading up to the production.

"I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to collaborate with all the amazing artists of Wonderbound. I am especially thankful to Garret and Dawn for allowing me to showcase the 'taste' sense." said Devil's Food Chef, Brian Crow

Smell - Michelle Roark of Viola Salon will be working closely with Ammon to create signature scents which will be introduced into the atmosphere of Junction Box.

Winter premieres on December 10 and will feature eight (8) total performances on December 10, 11, 17 and 18. While the content is suitable for children, Wonderbound encourages adults to make the evening all about them and to indulge in the decadence that only the Denver studio can offer. Seating is limited to 120 tickets per evening and is expected to sell out quickly.

As always, the public is encouraged to experience the performers, not only at the official shows throughout the season, but in their rehearsal space in the heart of Denver. Visitors are asked to call to confirm rehearsal schedules.
