About Open Screen Night: Open Screen Night is a Denver institution going on six years now, currently the last Tuesday of every other month at The Bug Theatre. For just $5, amateur or professional filmmakers get a chance to show their work on the big screen, or they can kick back and chill like the audience with some brews from the Bug's stocked concession stand.

Everyone in attendance has a chance to win great prizes from local sponsors. Submissions must be less than ten minutes but they can cover all genres and are expected to be a celebration of all the weird, wonderful, and whimsical that the Denver film community has to offer. Films can be submitted early online or at the event until capacity is reached. The show starts at 7pm! Don't wait! Act today! Go make your movies! Open Screen Night is waiting for you! Big screen. Short films. Open Screen Night! Go to openscreennight.com for all rules and info.

Will Elder, Open Screen Night Producer offers, "Open Screen Night is an opportunity for amateur filmmakers to showcase their work on a big screen to a live audience who otherwise may never see it. And, who knows, you may even make some friends!" Will Elder is available for interviews upon request.
