The Hot Wing King is Katori Hall's Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy and the final production in The Human Race Theatre Company's 40th anniversary season. The play follows Cordell Crutchfield, who is determined to win Memphis, Tennessee's annual Hot Wang Festival, but faces mounting tensions at home when his partner Dwayne takes in his troubled nephew E.J. The production is directed by Darnell Pierre Benjamin, with resident artists Andrew Ian Adams as Cordell Crutchfield and Rico Romalus Parker as T.J., joined by Eustace J. Williams, R. DeAndré Smith, Je'Shaun Jackson, and Rogerick Fields.
