Shadowbox Presents Their Summer Review, THE BEST OF SHADOWBOX With A Special 4th Of July Menu

By: Jun. 14, 2009

Once the ashes have settled from Columbus’ annual Independence Day celebration “Red, White, and Boom!,” make plans to see another kind of fireworks – the ones onstage at Shadowbox.  The troupe will present their summer review, The Best of Shadowbox with a special 4th of July menu option for patrons.

“We’ve decided to take advantage of the holiday by doing just our 7:30 show, but offering a banquet option for the audience,” said Marketing Director Julie Klein.  Audience members can enjoy Shadowbox’s special “Red, White and “Box” buffet featuring Honey Baked Ham, Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Southern-Style Green Beans, Cole Slaw, and Corn Bread.  Cheese and veggie trays as well as assorted desserts fill out the buffet making a hearty, all-American meal to accompany Shadowbox’s Best of Shadowbox show.

Likewise, Klein has decided to limit the evening to one show only.  “We’ll be performing just the 7:30 PM show that night so audience members can catch their community fireworks at dusk.

Shadowbox’s “Red, White, and ‘Box” banquet is $45 per person, including the ticket price for the “Best of Shadowbox” show.  Shadowbox will offer regular tickets for $30 and its normal bistro-style menu that evening as well, and, as always, a cash bar will be available before the show and at intermission.

The “Best of Shadowbox” show will begin at 7:30 PM (one show only), and the doors and banquet will open at 6:15 PM.  For more information call the Shadowbox box office at 614-416-7625 or visit the website at www.shadowboxcabaret.com.
