iibada Dance Company (IDC) is an Indianapolis non-profit whose mission is to provide cultural enrichment, discipline, arts education and opportunity to build and empower youth, families and communities through dance. It is best known for children's African and modern dance and runs a school of dance for ages 3 to 18 open to all skill levels, with classes in African dance, dance basics, ballet, pre-pointe, modern, jazz and tricks, and hip hop; adult and all-boys sessions are added in the autumn term. Alongside the academy there is a pre-professional performing company, a summer dance camp, the Dare to Dance school partnership program, community programming aimed at helping students build sustainable performing arts careers locally, and bookable performances and workshops for events.
