About this studio
Wevodau Dance Center is a family-oriented studio on the Carlisle Pike serving the Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg and Harrisburg area, teaching students from toddlers through adults. Its graded program runs from a Toddler class (ages 3-4) and Preschool Ballet, Tumble, Tap and Jazz combination classes into five numbered levels combining ballet, jazz and tap, with separate tracks in hip hop, contemporary, acro and pre-pointe/pointe. Adults have their own levelled ballet/lyrical, jazz and tap classes plus adult hip hop, contemporary and a Dance For Fitness class for ages 13 and up. Students advance by teacher evaluation rather than age, and the studio describes itself as a welcoming, non-competitive school focused on each dancer's own progress.
