About this studio
The Washington Ballet is the resident professional ballet company of Washington, D.C., based at 3515 Wisconsin Avenue NW and marking its 50th anniversary with the 2026/27 season. Its repertoire, curated by artistic director Edwaard Liang, is presented across a subscription season that includes The Nutcracker, Dracula, Romeo & Juliet and new works. Alongside the main company it maintains a Studio Company and a Trainee Program for emerging professionals. The Washington School of Ballet delivers school-year programs described as D.C.'s premier ballet training, together with open classes for adults and regular student performances. Community work includes Dance For All and Dance for Wellness, the latter incorporating Dance for PD for people with Parkinson's disease.
