V and T Dance

V&T Classical Ballet Academy, formally the Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky Dance Academy, is at 23601 Ridge Route Dr. Suite A in Laguna Hills, California, serving the Orange County ballet community. It is directed by Victor and Tatiana Kasatsky, former Moscow Ballet principal dancers, and teaches Russian classical ballet using the Vaganova method, with the stated aim of training elegance, technique and integrity. Academy ballet classes run for children ages 3-18, with adult ballet and open classes also offered, and pre-professional and professional level classes available. The Academy partners with the professional company Ballet Project OC to give students a pathway from academy classes into professional ballet, and has hosted guest instructors including dancers from the Bolshoi, American Ballet Theatre and Shanghai Ballet. Students perform in a holiday Nutcracker and a spring show, and also study hip hop, contemporary, character and stretch alongside ballet. The academy is now part of South Coast Conservatory and runs an outreach program through the Golden State Dance Foundation.
