Tutu School is a boutique ballet school for young children, founded in the San Francisco Bay Area and now operating as a franchised network of neighborhood studios. It introduces children from 6 months to 8 years old to ballet through storybook-themed classes, camps and birthday parties. The Ballet Storytime curriculum builds each class around the stories and scores of famous classical ballets, pairing movement with narrative so young dancers develop motor skills, poise and confidence. Alongside weekly classes, Tutu School runs Tutu Camp, hosts ballet birthday parties, and stages the Bravo Bash, its gentler version of a recital and a first introduction to the stage. Families are invited to book a free trial class at their local school.
