About this studio
The Studio of Dance and Arts is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dance studio at 419 6th Avenue in Havre, Montana, housed in the former Central High School building and serving communities along the Hi-line. It was formed to meet a local need for arts-based education, and since 2015 has offered classes in ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz, hip hop and tumbling. Provision runs from a Tiny Tots movement class for the youngest dancers through to classes for adults, with the stated aim of offering a safe, positive environment that nurtures self-expression, self-confidence and fitness for children and adults of all ages. The studio runs an annual Hip Hop Camp with T-shirt and lunch included, holds fundraising galas supporting the Nicole Alex Memorial Dance Scholarship Fund, and manages enrollment through a parent portal and its own mobile app.
