About this studio
Straub Dance Center is a family-owned and family-operated studio at 501 McCorkle Blvd in Westerville, Ohio, and describes itself as one of Central Ohio's oldest and largest dance schools, marking 59 years of teaching and serving children aged 2 to 18. Weekly classes are offered in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe and hip hop, built around dance education, enjoyment, exercise, poise, confidence and friendship. The Young Dancer Program covers ages two to six and has a one-way viewing window so parents and family can watch every class. Every spring the studio stages the Straub Recital, in which all dancers perform. For more serious students there is a competitive Performing Arts Company that currently involves more than 100 dancers.
