Step In Style Dance Studio is at 1466 South Wadsworth Boulevard in Lakewood, Colorado, and teaches ballet, tap and jazz. The studio builds its program around an acronym it uses as a motto - Dream, Achieve, Never give up, Create, Encourage - and describes encouragement, self-esteem and perseverance as the three pillars of its teaching. Staff say they use inspiration, motivation and positivity in every class, aiming to help students recognize their own worth as well as learn to move to music and memorise choreography, and to develop the resilience to keep working at a skill over time. The studio frames dance as a way of building balance, endurance and coordination alongside confidence, determination and motivation that carry over outside the studio.
