About this studio
Now trading as Colorado Ballet Society, this Colorado Springs school at 8570 Criterion Drive has offered pre-professional ballet and dance training since 1997 and is an affiliate school of Ballet West. It teaches students from age 2.5 through adult, organized into Primary, Secondary, Pre-Professional and Adult divisions, and states an aim of balancing dance, health and excellence. Styles taught include classical ballet, pre-pointe and pointe, men's technique, jazz, tap, contemporary, Broadway, acro, conditioning and the Sparkle Dance program. Four performing companies extend the training: Colorado Youth Ballet, the Competition Ensemble, Connexus Dance Collective and the Praise Dance Ensemble, all cast by audition.
