Southern Dance Connection

Southern Dance Connection is a performing arts center at 215 W. Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, South Carolina, working alongside two sister programs: Southern Cheer Elite, a cheer and tumbling gym in Lyman, and Bloom Fine Arts Preschool, an arts-based preschool for three and four year olds running Monday to Thursday mornings. The dance school serves ages two to eighteen and states its mission is to provide a positive, encouraging environment where students of all ages and abilities become confident and successful, describing itself as more than just great dancing and emphasizing life skills and giving back. The preschoolers program covers ages two to four with ballet, tap and tutu-and-tumble classes, the children's program covers ages five to nine, and tween and teen leveled classes for ages ten and up run from Level 1 through Level 10, with lyrical, hip hop, acro, pre-pointe and pointe, a Corps de Ballet and an adult clogging class. Tuition is monthly with an annual membership fee that includes class wear, and trial classes and birthday parties are offered.
