Bailey's Fine Arts

Bailey Fine Arts Center is at 280 Graces Way in Columbia, South Carolina, and is celebrating over 25 years serving the Midlands. Its main program runs from autumn through spring, with a graded syllabus that begins with Creative Movement for preschoolers aged 3-5 using basic tap and pre-ballet, and a Wee Dance parent-and-child class for children from walking to 36 months. Training then progresses through ballet levels I-V with pointe preparation and junior, intermediate and advanced ballet/pointe, tap levels through advanced, elementary to advanced jazz, lyrical, Broadway-style jazz, hip hop from age 7, and acro/tumbling for dancers. Adult tap, ballet and jazz classes are offered for those returning to dance or starting out. In summer the studio runs drop-in punch-card classes, Tiny Steps preschool ballet/tap and acro sessions. BFA hosts an award-winning competition dance team and is the home studio for Dance Theatre of Columbia, a nonprofit company whose productions raise money for children's charities.
