Ballet Academy of Charleston

Ballet Academy of Charleston has been THE place for classical ballet training for over 25 years. It is the only studio in Charleston that offers classical ballet ex­clusively! Our school follows the Russian school of training, based on the Bolshoi Ballet’s curriculum.

The studio provides classes for children of all levels and abilities, ages 3-18, as well as Mommy & Me classes for children as young as 18 months. We also have a thriving adult program for beginners to advanced students.

We offer a spring, fall, and summer semester for all children’s levels in addition to a variety of summer camps and intensives. Adult classes run through­out the ca­len­dar year.

Ballet Academy of Charleston provides perfor­mance opportunities for dancers who want to grow artistic­ally and develop their stagecraft. Past performances in­clude The Night Before Christmas, Alice in Wonder­land, The Fairy Doll, The Wizard of Oz, and The Rainbow Fish.
