About this studio
Now operating as Nova Noir Studios, this is an adult pole dance studio that describes itself as continuing the lineage of one of the oldest and most respected pole studios in the country, having inherited a space originally built for sensual dance and artistic freedom. The premises include ceilings tall enough for 19-foot poles, multiple instruction rooms and a main dance floor of about 1,600 square feet. Teaching centers on pole technique and sensual movement, with drop-in classes, multi-week series and workshops booked through the studio app; class titles include Booty Bouncing Basics and Low Flow Tricks. The studio also hosts pole parties, student showcases and video shoots, and runs a scholarship program.
