About this studio
Reach the Stars Youth Arts Program has operated since 2004 under owner-director Rebecca McCalmon, teaching dance, tumbling, art and theatre. Its studio is at 75 S. Nehalem St in Clatskanie, Oregon, next to the Birkenfeld Theatre and City Hall, and it also runs a separate class schedule in St. Helens. The autumn 2026 timetable runs from pre-K tumbling, hip hop tots and tap/ballet for ages three to five, through a preschool combo class mixing ballet, tap, tumbling and art, to graded ballet, jazz/tap, hip hop, tumbling and cheer pom classes for kindergarten through 12th grade. Pre-pointe, pointe, and aerial and acro classes are offered by invitation only. Students may also join the Performance Team from first grade and the Youth Ballet Company from second grade. A homeschool art club and summer sessions round out the program.
