About this studio
Pivot Dance Center is a recreational and pre-competitive dance studio serving the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake area. It teaches a broad range of styles, including ballet, pointe and pre-pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, musical theatre, acro, technique classes and an adult/kids Latin Fuzion class blending Latin dance with jazz. Younger students start in Combo Classes that pair two styles in one lesson (Ballet/Tap or Jazz/Hip Hop), and a 'Dance with Me' class for ages 12 months to 2 years introduces toddlers to rhythm, jumps, dance and tumbling alongside a parent. The studio also runs an auditioned Dance Company for more advanced students, summer camps, and rents its space for birthday parties and private events. Registration and scheduling are handled through a parent portal.
