About this studio
Danceland II School of Dance is at 1400 Kempsville Road, Suites 116-117, Chesapeake, Virginia, and offers a full range of dance training for children through teenagers. Its classes are organized into three tracks: a Young Children's Program for ages 1 to 7 with age-appropriate introductory classes, an Academy Program for ages 8 and up in which students build their own combination of subjects, and an Intensive Program for ages 7 and up aimed at dancers wanting more rigorous training. Subjects taught include ballet and pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary, modern and acro. The studio also runs three competition teams - Core, Mini Stars and Junior Crew - along with summer camps and classes. Recitals are staged at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, and free trial classes can be booked online.
