About this studio
Peak Academy of Dance serves the Colorado Front Range mountain community from Conifer, Colorado. Originally founded in 1978, it has been directed for 28 years by owner Danielle Heller, whose stated mission is to enhance the connection of body and soul through movement and music while fostering exceptional technique in a supportive environment. Classes are open to students from age 3 to 103, beginner through professional, covering ballet, contemporary ballet, pointe, modern, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, poms, musical theatre, choreography, and aerial and circus arts including lyra. Additional programs cover acrobatics, dancer health, adult fitness and wellness, and visual and design arts. Talent and performance focus groups give frequent performance opportunities, and the academy runs the Indigo Bridge Theater.
