About this studio
Cindy Ory Dance Studio is a New Orleans area dance school that aims to give each student the best dance education possible in a deliberately non-competitive environment with an emphasis on technical proficiency. It describes a caring, friendly atmosphere balancing fun and discipline, with instructors focused on making sure dancers enjoy the art form and look forward to class. Beginner through advanced classes are offered for ages 2 to adult in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, contemporary, hip hop and gymnastics, with ballet encouraged as the foundation for all other forms. Preschool classes are educational and developmentally appropriate. Teaching takes place in two studios, tuition is reduced for families, and the year ends with an annual recital.
