About this studio
Ohio Performing Arts Institute (OPAI) is a not-for-profit performing arts studio in Springfield, Ohio, teaching students aged 3 to 103 on the principle that performing arts are for everyone. Dance offerings run in graded levels and cover ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary and modern, musical theatre and an inclusive dance class, alongside acting, voice and guitar instruction. Specializt classes include Placement for intermediate and advanced ballet students, Pas De Deux partnering, and a Men's Class for ages 15 and up covering ballet, jazz and partnering technique. OPAI is home to Springfield Ballet Theater, its invitation-only pre-professional ballet company, and stages an annual production of The Nutcracker.
