About this studio
Move Dance Family, formerly Move Dance and Fitness, is a family-owned studio at 1819 First Oaks St, Richmond, Texas. The Marion family opened it in early 2013 with two students, and it now teaches more than 400 dancers and is the highest Google-rated dance studio in Fort Bend County. Classes are grouped by age: preschool for ages 2-5 focusing on playful movement and coordination, a kids program for ages 6-9, a graded technique program for pre-teens and teens, a separate Ballet Academy, and adult classes for 18 and over available on a drop-in basis. Movement Dance Company is its award-winning competitive and performing group of more than 50 dancers aged 5 to 18, entered by audition. The studio also offers private lessons, masterclasses, camps, events and birthday parties.
