About this studio
Monsters Dance is a touring hip hop dance convention rather than a fixed studio, visiting hotel venues across the United States and describing itself as the original all-hip-hop dance event. Each stop is a three-day workshop taught by a faculty of commercial dance choreographers, with over ten hours of classes, seminars, showcase performances, freestyle battles and auditions for more than $10,000 in scholarships. Events are open to all levels from beginner to professional with no qualification required. Add-ons include the Monsters A-List competition for solos through large groups in age divisions from 8-and-under to 17-and-older, and the alcohol-free Club Stylz Showcase. Talent agencies scout at selected cities.
