About this studio
Modern Movement Dance Studio, Inc. is a family-oriented studio at 861 Brighton Road in Tonawanda, New York, serving the Ken-Ton area for more than 20 years and opening its 21st season in September 2026. The studio offers age-appropriate classes for dancers from 18 months through adult, including Mommy & Me for ages 18 months to three years, children's and teen classes, adult dance classes and periodic dance workshops. Its approach is explicitly non-competitive: students are encouraged to progress at their own pace through a balance of encouragement, structure and discipline, with an emphasis on building confidence, self-esteem, friendships and a lasting love of movement alongside technique. Families note small class sizes and a wide variety of class offerings, and the year culminates in an end-of-year performance.
