About this studio
Unity School of Dance is at 543 W Centennial Blvd. in Springfield, Oregon, serving the Springfield and Eugene area under owner and director Eileen King. King founded the hip-hop company King's Krew in 2006; Unity opened three years later, followed by the Evolve company, both still based at the studio. Its stated mission is to instil creativity, confidence, artistic expression and self-esteem while educating young people through quality technique. Classes are grouped by age and ability and are open to beginners, professional dancers and those wanting a workout, with hip hop, jazz, leaps and turns, acro and contemporary offered, plus youth classes. The studio runs a Summer Six program, company camps and large end-of-year showcases.
