About this studio
Dance Dimensions has served Longmont, Colorado since 1985 from a studio at 638 Main Street, drawing families from Boulder, Weld, Larimer and Broomfield counties. Its stated approach is dance for the whole child, and it describes itself as an inclusive studio that creates belonging for children with physical, neurological, cultural and gender diversity. Weekly classes run from September to June and are grouped by age: Preschool/K for ages 2-6, Youth 6-10, Pre-Teens 9-13, Teens 12-18 and Adults 18 and over. Styles taught include ballet, pointe and pre-pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop and contemporary, with combo classes for early childhood mixing creative ballet, hip hop, tap and tumbling. The studio runs a competition company, summer offerings, special events and spring concerts each June, teaches additional recreation classes in partnership with the City of Longmont, and operates a dance apparel and shoe shop.
