About this studio
Illusion Dance Center is in New Braunfels, Texas, just outside the Gruene Historical District, and is now in its sixteenth season. It teaches students from age 3 upward and describes its approach as wholesome, age-appropriate instruction in a positive and safe environment, aiming to build life skills and self-image alongside technique. Alongside its regular class schedule the studio runs an Acro program, private lessons, guest master classes and skills clinics such as an aerial clinic. It fields competition companies (named by color, e.g. Lilac Co. and Violet Co.) plus a separate hip hop crew, holds annual recitals, and offers summer programming including intermediate and advanced dance intensives, a 13+ dance team prep camp and a Princess Dance Camp for younger children.
