Ignite Dance Studio

Ignite Dance Studio is located at 2455 Pearl Road in Medina, Ohio, and describes its aim as providing dance instruction in a creative, friendly and nurturing environment that promotes self-expression and artistry alongside a strong grounding in technique and terminology. Its schedule spans beginner combo classes for preschoolers up to a pre-professional collaborative, so students can sample different styles from year to year, specialize in one, or train seriously toward a professional career. Preschool programming begins at 18 months with Dance With Me, a parent-and-child partner class, followed by Baby Bop for ages 2-3, Storybook Ballet & Tap for 3-4 year olds and Mini Movers for 5-6 year olds. Older students take ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, jazz funk, lyrical/contemporary, hip hop, acro and tumbling, plus a Turns, Leaps and Jumps technique class. An adult class alternates hip hop in the autumn with tap after January. The studio presents a Christmas show and a year-end recital, with participation optional for adults.
