About this studio
Dancentre South was founded in 1993 by Annie Day and Marcus Alford and has served the Woodstock and Canton, Georgia area for 30 years; Brooke Hatch has owned and directed it since 2018. The school teaches ages 2 through adult, from the pre-school beginner to the advanced pre-professional, in pre-ballet, ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and acrobatics, and is Acrobatic Arts certified. It emphasises limited class sizes and a nurturing, non-competitive atmosphere while also running an audition-based DCS Company and Competition Team. The 8,000 square foot Woodstock studio has four rooms with viewing windows, sprung floors with non-slip Marley, a maple hardwood tap floor and a Wi-Fi lobby.
