About this studio
Encore Dance Academy is a dance school at 23 West Bacon Street, Unit 204, Plainville, Massachusetts, offering ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro, lyrical, ballet barre and Zumba. The academy runs both a recreational program, with classes for ages 18 months through adult, and a competition team. It describes its dance education program as designed to give students the technical skills to succeed as dancers as well as life skills. The facility has three recently remodelled studios (A, B and C), each with Marley flooring and air conditioning, a large lobby with a flat-screen TV for viewing classes, a homework area for students between classes, and an on-site dance store. Encore is a Broadway Connection partner studio. The year is capped by an annual recital, and the studio also runs summer sessions, themed summer day classes and birthday parties.
