About this studio
Dimensions Dance Academy is a studio at 134 E. Lincoln Highway in DeKalb, Illinois, teaching youth and adults and describing its aim as giving young dancers proper technical training while building humble, kind and confident individuals. The school runs semester-long classes alongside several distinct programs: Dimensions Youth Ballet, a 501(c)(3) performance company of around 43 youth dancers; a Ballet Honors program; a competition team; and AstroCheer, a cheer and tumbling offering. Dancers appear regularly at community events such as the Cortland Summer Fest and DeKalb Corn Fest as well as in staged productions. A free trial class is offered to prospective students, and registration for the autumn semester opens ahead of a September start.
